bootlocal.sh - Can't open Xserver
« on: November 04, 2015, 12:40:08 PM »
Hi all,

i try to build an digital photoframe with some extra functions.

I want to start feh (an image viewer) on startup. I added that command into /opt/bootlocal.sh

But it does not start. If is switch to tty1 it gives me: "Error: Can't open X display. It *is* running, yeah?"
I also tried to add some delay, but it is the same message.

Any suggestions?

Greetings

X programs cannot be started in bootlocal.sh.  X is not running at that point.
