Hi aswjh.
Trying out v1.1 - thanks for your handiwork.
Mirror, search, config, dependencies, installation, loading worked well.
Like that it keeps it's extensions seperate from Tiny Core but this requires more storage. Leafpad and efax-gtk did not fit in my 100MB parition freespace and failed to install, even when deleting deb files after tcz conversion. Just installed nano, required ~55 MB drive space after deleting the .deb files, most of which is the packages database. Guess installing additional software won't be as much an issue as the base gets fleshed out. Nano works great. Hoping to test this out on heavier software, such as qpdfview.
Is it possible to specify /dpkg creation into a different paritition?
Is there an issue with extension conflict? Example, running both a Tiny Core and dpm extension at the same time that both rely on their own versions of ncurses.
Kind of a hybrid between Tiny Core and dCore, not sure yet where it fits...maybe have your cake and eat it too
