No biggie, perusing download page:

- Core download is now 10MB, shows 9MB
- CorePlus download now 84MB, shows 72MB
- Core contents (TinyCore and CorePlus probably the same):
    Core>boot>isolinux>F2 provides example from TC v4.4:
       iso==/mnt/sdb1/multiboot/ISOS/TinyCore-4.4.iso
- no MD5SUM info in the download or on the main download page,
    need to click 'Release... links'

Sorry for double-post. No response likely indicates minimal importance. The reason i brought it to the forum, is that i could not find out who was overlooking website maintenance. I am happy to maintain the download page after new releases, just let me know. Thanks.

As outlined in first post, the main download page indicates CorePlus is 72MB, it is actually 84MB:

Similar outdated information with Core (9 vs 10MB).

No it doesn't . It says it is 84.0 M.

The Core Project, as suggested by our name, is not a turnkey desktop distribution. Instead we deliver just the core Linux from which it is quite easy to add what you want. We offer 3 different x86 "cores" to get you started: Core, TinyCore, and our installation image, CorePlus.

Core
(9 MB)   Core is the base system which provides only a command line interface and is therefore recommended for experienced users only. Command line tools are provided so that extensions can be added to create a system with a graphical desktop environment. Ideal for servers, appliances, and custom desktops.

TinyCore
(15 MB)   TinyCore is the recommended option for new users who have a wired network connection. It includes the base Core system plus X/GUI extensions for a dynamic FLTK/FLWM graphical desktop environment.

CorePlus
(72 MB)   CorePlus is an installation image and not the distribution. It is recommended for new users who only have access to a wireless network or who use a non-US keyboard layout. It includes the base Core System and installation tools to provide for the setup with the following options: Choice of 7 Window Managers, Wireless support via many firmware files and ndiswrapper, non-US keyboard support, and a remastering tool.

Core is now 10MB, CorePlus now 84MB. Simply requesting an update of this page to accurately display download size. IMO wouldn't hurt to include md5sum info, as not everyone will select the 'Core x86 Release Files' link.
