adding repositories with nonstandard layout
« on: September 16, 2015, 02:25:11 AM »
I have a problem, when trying to add various custom repositories that do not have standard debian layout the import script expects. Here are some examples :

(OBS projects for debian)

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wengo:/dogtag/Debian_8.0/

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wengo/Debian_7.0/

http://www.playdeb.net/updates/ubuntu/15.04/

how does one proceed with adding such repositories?

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wengo:/dogtag/Debian_8.0/

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wengo/Debian_7.0/

http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu vivid-getdeb games

The above works in fetching the Packages (downloaded as /etc/sysconfig/tcedir/debinx.*) files on my system.

The third is specified in the playdeb.net "how to install" page.

Hope this helps!

hm, that is pretty strange. i was quite sure it failed to work before.

well, now it seems to work fine. perhaps i was using older debian initrd before switching to ubuntu based dcore.
