8192eu driver RPi2
« on: August 13, 2015, 06:22:53 PM »
Hi Béla

I'm trying to build a driver for some new 300Mbps WiFi dongles that I have recently bought.

The chipset is a Realtek 8192eu and I have been reading all the various web pages about how to build the kernel driver file for it. It seems that kernel sources, modules, .config & Modules.symvers files, matching the current running kernel, are all required.

I can only find the modules file in the /6.x/armv7/releases/RPi2/src/kernel/ directory. Would it be possible for you to put the RPi2 sources, .config and Modules.symvers files up there as well please, or tell me how to generate them please.

Cheers Jon

What is in dmesg? Missing kernel module or firmware?
