libreoffice + spellcheck?
« on: June 07, 2015, 03:43:36 AM »
Anyone have any luck with the current libreoffice extension + spellcheck? My install can't seem to find the hunspell dictionaries. Kind of at a loss at this point.

I've tried
* install libreoffice + hunspell + hunspell-en-us extensions
* install aspell (fails ... missing dep: ncursesw, this build won't work with nurses alone)
* moving dictionaries into ~/.config/libreofficedev/4/user/wordbook/ or /usr/lib/libreoffice/share/wordbook/
* adjusting various language settings under the Tools menu
* lots of restarting libreoffice

etc, etc.

TIA

I don't know if it helps, but libreoffice was built with "--without-myspell-dicts"

If you check  ncurses.tcz.list  it looks like  ncursesw  was merged into  ncurses.

FWIW, I never did get libreoffice spellcheck working. If I can handle it, I'll try a rebuild to test --with-myspell-dicts.

Could be awhile. [emoji14]
