2.0alpha4 error using tclocal
« on: April 24, 2009, 07:13:27 PM »
Using the local=hdxx boot option I see the following errors during the boot process:
ldconfig: You should remove `/lib' from `/etc/ld.so.conf'
ldconfig: You should remove `/usr/lib' from `/etc/ld.so.conf'
ldconfig: skipping /usr/local/lib/libXv.so: No such file or directory
ldconfig: skipping /usr/local/lib/libXss.so: No such file or directory
ldconfig: skipping /usr/local/lib/libXinerama.so: No such file or directory
ldconfig: skipping /usr/local/lib/libXfixes.so: No such file or directory
ldconfig: skipping /var/lib: No such file or directory

I see the same error issuing sudo ldconfig

Do you happen to have tcz's in use with your tclocal?

I see an issue without tclocal when using skype.  Let me check into it.

EDIT:  It is an issue with ldconfig and symlinked libs.  It will be resolved.

The issue is the Xlibs_support extension has broken .so symlinks to files that do not exist.  Ldconfig is just fine.  I will fix the extension.
