I believe mkdir -p myflash/usr/local/firefox-official/plugins should create all the directories in one go.

Right
i was trying to find the minimum system requirements for running Adobe Flash 9.x versions on Linux. It seems the minimum Linux specs needed are a minimum of 128 megs of machine Ram
While Flash 9 on win32 needs just 64 megs of ram to run.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The minimum machine specs needed for Adobe Flash 10.x on Linux also seem to be 128 megs of machine Ram....
But the minimum machine specs needed for Adobe Flash 11.x on Linux climb to 512 megs of machine Ram...... before it will even run....

very unsure about this whole subject now....since another popular distro here seems to have no problem
at all in running Linux Adobe flash 11.2 on a 256 ram laptop....
it's an arbitrary browser and a raw install of 11.2 flash.....nothing to do with chrome etc.
hmmm

yeah..
is it possible that a distro with say FLASH 9 installed .....and then having
flash 11.2 installed over the top of it...so to speak
could that software stack be somehow finding the deps it needs and symlinks etc
to be able to run the 11.2 version even while having under-spec'd machine
ram (just 256 meg intead of 512 meg needed for Linux Adobe Flash 11 up) which ........Adobe claim flash 11 upwards needs 512 ram min on Linux.
there is certainly no doubt that this 256 meg LINUX laptop here is running
flash 11.2 no problem. You can also notice a slight performance improvement
of the flash because indeed it's a higher version than 9 or 10.3....
all the tools and top and everything indicate that flash 11.2 is running while
adobe would claim that this is not possible on a 256 meg machine.

I am wondering if the whole 512 ram requirement thing with Linux Adobe flash 11 or above is not absolutely true.
it certainly seems so here.
