Picore 6.0 X screen goes black after a few minutes

I just installed picore 6 with X (not sure if specific to 6). After a few minutes, the screen goes black, and my ssh connection to the device is halted. I can't find any screen saver program running, was wondering what's causing it to turn off the screen, and how I can stop it from doing that.

Blanked screen and lost SSH connection is not related. I'm using the same setup without any issue.

Which SSH server are you using? Is SSH disconnected after a certain inactivity time or when it is used at the same time as screen blanking?

looks like my ssh connection is halted only when I use A+ board. With the B+ board the screen went blank, but the  connection remained active.

I'm using openssh. The only tests I've done involved me not using the board at all, no keyboard input, no ssh activity. I can experiment with ssh activity along with no keyboard input.

Could you please let me know how to disable the screen saver? thanks.
