v6 rc1 : bsddb-dev unavailable in repository
« on: December 11, 2014, 04:40:53 PM »
Hi all,

I try to install iproute2. It has a dependency to bsddb-dev that is unfortunately unavailable. What can I do to have it ? How can I force install with nodeps ? How can I build it ?

I don't really know if I post at right place

Thanls in advance for your help

Hi Juanito
It sounds kind of strange for  bsddb-dev.tcz  to be listed in the iproute2 dep file. I suspect it's a typo and should be  bsddb.tcz.

Indeed - if somebody could test the iproute2 extension and confirm that it works with the db (as opposed to to bsddb) extension, I'll adjust the dep file.
