Model A and usb ethernet connection
« on: December 21, 2014, 07:49:38 AM »
I'm trying to get TC up & running on raspberry pi model a with usb-ethernet adapter. dmesg shows the adapter as USB 2.0 10/100M Ethernet Adapter ((idVendor=ofe6 idProduct=9700). ifconfig shows only loopback link. I use this [1] TC. Seachring for a solution told me  that TC should see the ethernet card almost always without any set up, but does that apply to usb adapters as well?

Test of that adapter on fedora 20 shows that it needs module dm9601

Please try the latest piCore-6.0beta355 release. Install net-usb-3.12.35-piCore+.tcz which has the USB Ethernet driver module.
