What should I throw on an old Socket 3 rig?

I know this type of rig isn't ideal for daily use or whatever, I'm just interested in playing around with one of the first computers I ever owned for the fun of it.

CPU: Pentium Overdrive 83Mhz (or PODP5V83 ) which is a 586 made to fit a 486 socket https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_OverDrive
Ram: 36mb EDO (maxed out as far as what the mainboard will take)
GPU: ATI MACH64
ISA Ethernet Networkcard (so it can get online)

At the moment it's running Unofficial Windows 98 SE Service Pack, which I threw on it a few years ago just to mess with. For a while before that I had tried DSL on it briefly. I've looked over https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightweight_Linux_distribution and most of those are more geared towards mid-late 90s hardware at a minimum.

I was going to try TinyCore just to see, but I guess I'm 10mb of ram shy of making it easy or possibly even worthwhile: http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,3498.msg18353.html
But also in that thread I saw Kolibri OS mentioned and it sounds pretty neat. But I'm open to anything that's at least still actively being developed (unlike Win98) and can breath some life into an old nostalgic rig of mine.

I couldn't get TinyCore going, and I think it's because of my ram lacking. Kolibri OS didn't want to go either, I got screen corruption on boot- I don't blame it though, I think it's just my system just too old for even the minimum requirements of it. Ended up installing DSL on it, which went fine cause I think it's one of the only distros to support systems with as little as 16mb.

Of course there are assembler distros as well, MenuetOS & KolibriOS, basically the same thing forked.
