Class-compliant USB
« on: September 04, 2014, 04:09:10 AM »
Hi,

I want to use this external USB sound card with my laptop while using TC:

http://www.numark.com/product/djio-2

So it connects to computer over USB and the OS sends audio to this USB device etc..

Under features there is this notion:
- Class-compliant USB connection that instantly works with your Mac and PC; no drivers required

So my question is, will it work with TC out of the box?

And if not, then is this possible to get to work? Like is this Class-compliant USB feature something that can be compiled to kernel (or module)

Thanks!

Yes, should work with alsa. The class-compliant means the generic driver should work.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
