Need python compiled with UCS4 enabled
« on: August 23, 2014, 06:31:44 PM »
Dear all,

Unfortunately the python.tcz in tinycorelinux was compiled with UCS2 enabled which means that all programs requiring python with ucs4 unicode can't be run in the distro. Is there a reason for UCS2 to be chosen instead of UCS4?
UCS4 seems to be the default in almost all other linux distros.

Is it possible to provide an alternative tcz extension?

Best regards
