Documentation Files Location
« on: August 05, 2014, 11:23:34 AM »
Hi, I'm new to Linux and need to stand up a thin DNS server to put records for internal names and forward the rest to google or othere public DNS.  I downloaded the pre-built OVA file and have it running in VMWare.  I've downloaded bind.tcz and bind-doc.tcz.  I do not know how to find anything though.  Where are the bind config files?  Where did the doc package install?  How do I make sure bind service is configured to startup?

Thanks for your help.

Just run dnsmasq.  It is in the repo.
All Core documentation will be listed in the info files for a given package.
Most documentation is available on the internet from the author of the program or from the many online manpage sites.
