marsboard help!!
« on: March 11, 2014, 09:21:26 AM »
Okay, been going around in circles for the past week...

I'm exceptionally new to monoboard computers, so the Mars seemed like a solid next step from the Pi.
Only...I have no idea how to get ubuntu 12.04, or anything beyond 11.10 on it!!!

I've got the mfTool, tried loading u-boot(), tried to simply flash an .img onto the sd card...I'm lost.

Can someone just give me a simple break down of what I need to do to get this to work?

First thing I did before posting, sadly its all Greek to me.

Look, I'm just wanting to know the basics, the documentation is barely any help, and every other forum I've been to has either not replied or given some complex answer that has been beyond my grasp.
