TC as a Powerpoint Show

Hey all. Haven't been around here in a long time. I have been tasked with a project at work and think TC is perfect but I could use some guidance by people who have maybe done this before.
I am going to have a small computer mounted to the back of a big screen that is to do nothing but cycle thru a slideshow. So I just need TC to boot and immediately start a full screen powerpoint slideshow. I know that the ppt will probably have to be converted but would love any input anybody would have on getting going with this.
Thank you!

If you want to start an X program at login, put a script to start it in ~/.X.d.
Just make sure the script exits after starting the X application.

If you wanted to use the ppt format directly, I could only think of libreoffice.
Else you could convert into a common image format once, there are various image viewers which have a slideshow feature.
