Ralink wifi cannot setup

<< < (8/9) > >>

coreplayer2:
This is one of two files sent to you already, though from a different source.   Be nice to see if it or the new driver (compiled with rt5370 support) from the kernel source works with your adapter

serhi999se:
#!/bin/sh
modprobe rt2800usb
echo 148F 5370 > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rt2800usb/new_id &

Gera99:
Hi!

I do not understand exactly.
Eeveryone gave up :) or solved just i not understand something?

Because i have same problem.

PC: Dell Wyse r0x tinycore current iso stick: Tenda W311Ma
--- Code: ---https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Tenda_W311Ma
--- End code ---
TCz .: firmware-raliknwifi wifi usbutils wireless4.2.9-tinycore
installed

when i plug another port :
Dmesg write: usb 1-6: new high-speed USB device number 8 using ehci-pci

sudo  modprope -v  rt2800usb
Dmesg write: usbcore: registered new interface driver rt2800usb
but nothing.

Someone have idea or buy another adapter? (RTL)

Thanks

curaga:
Support for that chip, 5370, was still experimental (and still is as of 4.8), so it's disabled in our kernel.

You can either build a custom kernel, or get a better supported stick. Atheros ones are excellent.

Gera99:
Ok Master.
Thanks for that info.
