Input method issue with terminals.

I have two sets of images.

1. tinycore 2.10, Xorg-7.4, jwm, xterm, scim.
2. tinycore 5.2, Xorg-7.7, jwm, xterm, scim.

Jwm, xterm, scim in both images are all latest source version.

In image 1, everything is fine. But in image 2, if I opened a terminal, and killed scim processes, the terminal froze. Even close button in title bar did not work. But I could kill its process from another terminal. Seems like the window was hung to deal X events.

I tried to replace jwm with fluxbox/openbox, replace scim with fcitx, replace xterm with rxvt/lxterminal. No luck.

What should I do?
