Alsaconf Audio change output device card

(1/1)

rizla:
Hi all,
i'm a newbie of all linux distribution.
I have a little problem with TinyCore Pluse, internal sound card not work  :'(
The issue is that my laptop have two sound card:
1) HDMI Output Radeon
2) Hudson Azalia Controller sound card

I download ALSA and alsaconf extention, execute alsaconf and it found sound card "Hudson Azalia Controller",but  the primary output is always "HDMI Output Radeon".
I run speaker-test but there is no sound.

I'm sure sound card works fine and exist linux driver, because with other linux distribution works fine.
can anybody help me?

rizla

Rich:
Hi rizla
The lower right window in your screen shot shows the master volume is at -65dB which is all the way down.

tinypoodle:
Not only that - it's actually muted   :o

(Press "M" to unmute)

rizla:
Hi all,
Yesterday, I also thought it was the fact of being mute.
But I unlocked the mute and put all parameters to the maximum, not works.

I think it is always set as the primary output HDMI and I can not change it to Hudson Azalia.

If you look at the bottom left of the image shows the "ALSA mixer GUI" on HDMI device, and I can not change it to Azalia.
Addition Azalia is not  HDMI output, but it is the motherboard sound card..

How can I change the primary sound output towards Azalia?

thank you for response  :)

Juanito:
It's probably a good idea to visit the official alsasound site and check out the support resources there.

Another possible solution is to use pulseaudio/pavucontrol - I hesitate to suggest this is it is a bunch of bloat and complication, but it does make it easy to switch between sound sources and outputs
