Hi
I've prepared to files:
e17-stable-data (untested) which contains the file for avoiding the need of specifiyng enlightenment_start as boot code & the sysactions file so u can shutdown & reboot the pc doing also the backup (depending on your BACKUP variable) withount the need of using exittc, so it should be possible to use the e17 buttons/menu.
The other file is the readme.
Please Jason publish them.

Thanks, it's done.

I adjusted to the 755 perms and root:staff ownership of the tce.installed directory and startup script.   I will create a simple audit type of script to do that automatically for my own as well as other prebuilt  or *data.tar.gz packages as it is very easy to forget.
