Emelfm 1
« on: January 30, 2014, 05:07:02 AM »
Hi guys!

I would just ask if someone could make emelfm 1 for piCore. I'm kind of accustomed to this file manager since the early DSL days. Would be most grateful.

Have fun with piCore,
meo

emelFM1 is has a dependancy of GTK+1.2, not sure what else.  That version of GTK is not in the repo.

emelFM2 looks similar, it is based on GTK+2.    It also has a libmagic dependancy, and a bunch of odd dependencies based on compile options.  Which will need to be added too.

Thanks Paul_123 for your comment!

I like simplicity thats why I use emelfm 1. Would compile it myself if I could.

Kind greetings,
meo

Simplicity is command line :)  When it comes to linux, I've just been a command line guy.

I don't currently have a pi running X to do any testing.  But that is on my to do list.  It should be fairly straight forward compile.

It requires Gtk1. Gtk1 requires glib1 and maybe few other oldies.
