Hi guys , Please see attached screenshot in which 'gvim' window does not get closed .
Though , there is no process about vim .
Using xkill  over it does not work , too.

That part of the screen probably just wasn't restored for some reason.

Is there any other way to refresh it , other than killing & restarting x server ?

Try dragging another window across it to force a refresh.

If that would not help, you could try what happens when restarting window manager.
