Aterm: Cannot set locale
« on: December 07, 2008, 10:05:36 PM »
Could you open a terminal on TinyCore and type 'aterm' to start Aterm?
I get a message saying, "aterm: Cannot set locale."
Typing
export LANG="C"
seems to fix it.  I don't know if it's a bug.

Thank you.

Probably is: `locale -a` lists C and POSIX off a fresh boot.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes, 'locale -a' on my DSL-2.0 shows C and POSIX.
My DSL does not give the "aterm: Cannot set locale" message.
