tc-config script loading kmap
« on: December 26, 2013, 11:08:11 AM »
I have never been able getting kmap working as boot script, looking at etc/init.d/tc-config makes me wonder if script is correct.

[ -n "$KEYMAP" ] || KEYMAP="us"
if [ -f "/usr/share/kmap/qwerty/$KEYMAP.kmap" ]; then
   echo -n "${GREEN}Setting keymap to ${MAGENTA}$KEYMAP"
   /sbin/loadkmap < /usr/share/kmap/$KEYMAP.kmap
   echo "KEYMAP=$KEYMAP" > /etc/sysconfig/keymap
   echo "${GREEN} Done.${NORMAL}"
fi

all kmaps is in folder  /usr/share/kmap/qwerty/.

How do I backup my updated tc-config script so it gets loaded at boot ?

//Peter.

That is not the code in the tc-config in V 5.1.
What version are you running?
Perhaps you need to update to the current version.
