I'd like to see on my netbook screen the real-time video feed from a USB-connected video camera. What's the simplest application that will do this? In Ubuntu, the answer would be "cheese", but we have no tcz for that.
Indeed, Ubuntu's "cheese" works perfectly with the hardware I have -- but I would prefer to do the job with TC, not Ubuntu.
[Background: Hardware stores now sell a tool in which a webcam is mounted on the end of a flexible probe. You can stick this into a hole in the wall, or under your car, and take a good look at things you couldn't see otherwise. I recently bought one. It should help me improve my CAT-5/6 wiring and do other useful projects around the house.]
Thanks!
