How to make custom ISO of Tiny Core
« on: November 05, 2013, 09:18:31 AM »
Hi, I need to make custom iso of TC. I want only web browser and pdf reader inside without other programs like text editor and even wbar. I tried this tutorial with v5.0 and almost every combination: http://ebalaskas.gr/wiki/TinyCoreLinux but unfortunately it doesnt work. The problem is that, iso created  in the way described above stops booting at terminal prompt and it doesnt start X automatically.

What should I do to have TC with e.g. chromium and evince only and to be able to configure e.x. autostart scripts inside system?
Tutorial at http://wiki.tinycorelinux.net/wiki:remastering seems to be outdated.

I've made one ISO with ezremaster but I would also like to change some default configuration files (wallpaper maybe) and etc.

These changes can be made in your mydata.tgz, or the files themselves before the ISO is created.
Search the fora for ezremaster.  There is a lot of information there.
