centered windows in the screen

Hi,
When open something, the first window in the screen is located in the top left corner. In Tc4.7.7 is centered. Where is the trick to do the same in Tc5.0?
Thanks.

I suppose its wm dependent.
I'd like to know how to set specific apps to always open at a certain location, if possible, using jwm (but I'm not at all sure its possible).
