TCL on Samsung N150: external monitor not enabled under Xvesa
« on: September 20, 2013, 09:16:38 AM »
Hi, tinycorers!

I'm trying to use an external monitor (projector), 1024 x 768 resolution, attached to my Samsung N150.

I'm using Xvesa as default, and 915resolution.tcz as onboot item.
My internal  LCD display (1024 x 600 resolution) looks fine under Xvesa, it runs without using too many resources.
But I can't to startup the external monitor (BTW: Ctr + F4 buttons don't work, look at my previous post in this section: "TCL on Samsung N150: special keys doesn't work...".

Can Xvesa manage a second monitor? Or must I try Xorg?

I want to keep TCL without heavy dependencies...
I'm running TCL v. 4.7.7; v. 5.0 still needs maduration  ;)

Best regards,
DanielH

Try switching monitors before booting.
