Configure WiFi

I have my WiFi card showing up but when I enter the known good code I get an error.
WiFi card is netgear at111v2 laptop is pcg-z505rx Sony vaio 400mhz 128mb ram 8gb hdd

I realise you have posted in the TC base but you might consider downloading the wicd package and run

wicd-gtk
expand the graphical panel and re-check your password

also this app may allow you to ignore networks that are not yours so only yours shows up

assuming you are trying to connect to a router....forgive me if you are doing something else

2) you may like to review the contents of your /home/tc/wifi.db  which can be viewed by a text editor
it might contain an error not easily spotted?

Might be an issue with the space in the name. Can you rename the access point to one without a space?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
