dCore provides a suite of scripts to allow import of Debian packages. Currently amv7 and x86 are supported.

Team Tinycore is pleased to announce the release of dCore for Allwinner A10 v5.13.12.06.

Change log:
  • usr/bin/debGetSize : New utility called on by importsce when the -s option is used to give package size info.
  • usr/bin/deb2sce, usr/bin/importsce: adding options -s for size function and -r for on ram imported package unpacking.
  • usr/bin/importsce: Made package search and results case insensitive.
  • usr/bin/importsce: Made the -s option that stores md5sums of packages in the sce as the default.
  • tce-setup: Enable lst= boot option.
  • tc-functions: getpasswd preserve last char entered.
  • etc/group: added plugdev group, and added user messagebus to messagebus to simplify dbus setup.

dCore  v5.14.03.09 for Allwinner A10 has been posted.  Major theme is the ability to use existing SCE extensions as dependencies of imported apps to reduce extension size due to package duplication across SCEs.

dCore  v5.14.06.18 for Allwinner A10 has been posted.   Highlight of this release is the use of a rorating dash instead of echoing package names during the dependency gathering routine which results in a performance increase.

It has been a while since I posted an A10 update.  I will do so when this string of major changes settles down, I will basically stick to stable releases for the A10.

Finally, I have visited the A10 with our current import routine.  Made some needed changes and have posted a new image.  I do not plan to ignore A10 like that in the future.
