[SOLVED] Wireless won't connect!
« on: May 23, 2013, 09:15:26 PM »
When I click on WiFi, the terminal opens up and scans for available networks. I can see my router from the list but when I enter the corresponding number and ask me for the security key, it gives me:

udhcpc (v1.19.4) started
Sending discover...
Sending discover...
Sending discover...
No Lease, failing
Failed to connect.

I have a RaLink RT2500. I know it works coz I have dual boot and it works on the other OS. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this is related, but I can remember having issues with rt2500usb with power mangement being on by default.

You could try something along the lines of:
Code: [Select]
sudo iwconfig <interface> power off

That did the trick. Thank you very much :)

Finally got the setup I want. I've been trying to figure this one out and the dual display for who knows how long. Now that I have both, it's time to ENJOY!
