*SOLVED* CLI HELP
« on: March 17, 2013, 10:01:00 AM »
Hi,
Man Pages provides no dialog for 'CLI'!

Please provide the correct syntax for TC to access CLI?

It appears a username/password is required.  How is this setup?

Also, How does TC return to Desktop from CLI?

THX

Hi eltone
From the desktop, Ctrl-Alt-F1 switches to console and Ctrl-Alt-F2 returns to desktop.
From the desktop, Ctrl-Alt-Backspace kills X and switches to console, startx restarts the desktop empty.
When booting, the boot code   text   boots you straight into the console.

Rich,

Besides this 'crib-sheet', does CLI have a Hotkey for 'shutdown' and to 'reboot'?

Hi eltone
I don't do this from the CLI myself, but I think you want  exitcheck.sh  to shut down  and  exitcheck.sh reboot  to reboot.
