How to install KDEnlive
« on: February 24, 2013, 11:31:18 PM »
Hi,
I got my machine now all setup for its major overhaul. I want to install KDEnlive (video editor) and try it out. I did not find KDEnLive in the Apps (repository).

Regards,
gocool

My bad...I am not sure how to move it to the appropriate thread/topic.

I installed avidemux...but it just put an icon on the bar, on clicking it, nothing happens. No window opens up.

Hi gocool
As near as I can tell, KDEnLive  requires a newer version of KDE than is available in the repository.

Thank you Rich. That answers it. I'll mark this thread as solved.
