CDE - Code, Data, Environment

I am revisiting CDE combined with the SAVE_ARGS script that was given me for the tcz converted packages, I think it may result in some useful scm packages.

FWIW, I've quite successfully made use of CDE for a few applications that were too difficult to compile in Core (Pandoc for instance - needs a working haskell environment)

Yeah, combined with the SAVE_ARGS script to allow regular use on the command line for, say, mplayer /path/to/file.mp4, as well as a link to the root filesystem for using graphical apps to access any file, it seems to make CDE created packages act quite like ones natively built.
