Adding Language Options to Boot Menu
« on: February 24, 2013, 12:46:37 PM »
Long time listener and first time poster.

I am wondering if it is possible to allow users to select a language at the boot menu options? I realise it can be done using different boot codes but that isn't exactly what I am after.

I think it would really benefit the community if a tutorial on this could be done.

Specifically the languages I am after are:

Chinese
Malaysian
Russian
Italian
French
Spanish
German

Thank you so much :)

Just add more boot selections to your boot loader.  Each selection for a different language.

Do you want to specify language at boot time or you want to run TC localised using listed languages? In such case you need more efforts (-locale.tcz packs, etc) not only boot.

Sure do and thank you for your help. Where can I find locale language packs? I have been googling around and there doesn't seem to be a specific source. Thank you
