Any new news for when XBMC will work?

As others, I've posted before about issues with XBMC not working AT ALL.

Some have said it does work, and some have said that it does not, AT ALL.

I am really hoping for a stable XBMC.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, and I really do mean that.

Just bought a new pc with windows 8 installed, and I'm looking to uninstall windows A.S.A.P.

I can't even run ubuntu, or xbmcbuntu due to their whole new bios thing in windows 8 (as far as I know, that's the reason).

BUT, Tinycore does run, I just need XBMC - As-well ...
