I was wondering whether there is any benefit at all to installing any xf86 drivers with the current Xvesa (as shipped with Tinycore-5.1)?
eg: will Xvesa use xf86-input-synaptics input driver?

No, the xf86 drivers are only used by Xorg.

Ok likewise, does the extension " graphics-3.8.13-tinycore " have any benefit at all with the current Xvesa? Or is this ext. only of benefit for use with Xorg?

Xorg needs it for acceleration with the open drivers.
It will actually conflict with Xvesa. However, it's useful with Xfbdev, as then you can use the screen's full resolution framebuffer, and not be limited to Vesa resolutions.

In my limited experience, I have not observed any side effects when running Xorg and Xvesa concurrently (on different DISPLAY's).
