pixman md5sum mismatch
(1/1)
Lee:
I'm getting an md5sum mismatch on pixman.tcz in the x86_64 repo.
Juanito:
the md5sum is reported good and matches on both the repo and my local copy - could you delete and try to download again please?
Lee:
OK then - my md5sum check initially fails because pixman.tcz is not downloaded (but pixman.tcz.md5 -is-).
--- Code: ---tce-load -w pixman.tcz
--- End code ---
fails with
--- Code: ---pixman.tcz: FAILED
md5sum: WARNING: 1 of 1 computed checksums did NOT match
Error on pixman.tcz
--- End code ---
--- Code: ---wget http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86_64/tcz/pixman.tcz
--- End code ---
fails with
--- Code: ---wget: bad response to RETR: 550 failed to open file
--- End code ---
Either wget or tce-load will work with, for instance, findutils.tcz.
If I use my web browser (on regular core4.7) to go to the x86_64 repo and download pixman.tcz I can get it but it still has an md5 checksum mismatch.
--- Code: ----rw-r--r-- 1 tc staff 2395 Nov 13 12:51 pixman.tcz
Computed md5: 0e7fd4497a8e815b88581e3cd9de66a6 pixman.tcz
Downloaded md5: 951b008846b969468fbfb83efb809083 pixman.tcz
--- End code ---
I've deleted that pixman.tcz and then retried tce-load and wget with the results above.
Juanito:
I still don't see any error, but I deleted and uploaded pixman again.
From the repo:
--- Code: ---$ cat pixman.tcz.md5.txt
951b008846b969468fbfb83efb809083 pixman.tcz
$ md5sum -c pixman.tcz.md5.txt
pixman.tcz: OK
--- End code ---
and locally:
--- Code: ---$ wget http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86_64/tcz/pixman.tcz
Connecting to distro.ibiblio.org (152.19.134.43:80)
pixman.tcz 100% |****************************************************************************************| 176k 0:00:00 ETA
$ wget http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/x86_64/tcz/pixman.tcz.md5.txt
Connecting to distro.ibiblio.org (152.19.134.43:80)

$ md5sum -c pixman.tcz.md5.txt
pixman.tcz: OK
--- End code ---
I'm not at a x86_64 machine right now to try the apps gui, but I downloaded pixman from the repo using a browser and the md5sum checks out on the downloaded file.
Hopefully this fixes whatever it was?
Lee:
That did it! Posting this from Corepure64 with Opera 12. ;D
The bad news is that this PC has to go back to Win7 now that lunch time is over. :(
Corepure64 is looking great!
Thanks Juanito.
