dCore Import Debian Packages to Mountable SCE extensions > Allwinner A10
a10Core SD Card Image
roberts:
I have updated the development build of a10Core to v4.7.
See: http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/4.x/armv7/
roberts:
REPOSTED was looking at the x86 repository. Fixed to look at armv7.
roberts:
I have posted an update for a10Core SD card image and support programs.
http://code.google.com/p/tinycore-a10/downloads/list
This brings the base to 4.7.1.
By using the import tool one can easily get X working.
Together with Xtc, Xprogs, and flwm, we are quickly approaching a workable system.
This is an experimental approach, using import, as no Core specific repository is required.
roberts:
I might add that the posted a10 image also provides a new boot code, xonly.
By using the xonly boot code, the frambuffer bterm will not be started.
This saves in memory and cpu. Note however, be absolutely certain
that you have X together with flwm starting successfully from onboot.lst.
If you boot with xonly then exittc will not allow Exit to prompt.
The default is to boot iinto frambuffer bterm and exittc allows
Exit to prompt.
Use updbootcodes program to add xonly or any other supported boot code.
Note that updbootcodes, uses the editor via environment variable EDITOR,
so be sure to have it set appropriately.

I have updated and posted new images 20121202.
These include the "performance" boost as suggested by GPSFan.
Also posted are READMEs, including the xorg instructions thanks to hlavery.
