OMAP Tiny Core
« on: November 11, 2012, 04:27:53 AM »
Okay I have been trying now for like 8 months to research what would be needed to get tiny core on my PandaBoard

Finding this has just made my day, but as complete noob in this realm and looking to become more of an expert as i wear out SD cards trying to get an image loaded on it.

I have been failing getting android to work, if that eludes to my current know how of this low level machine stuff.

so basic questions to start?
like can i use the a7 build or do i have to start from scratch to support the PandaBoard hardware?
Could some one just put a loaded SD card in the star trak atomizer so I can start developing with this machine now rather than banging my head off the floor with all these error messages.

If some one is willing to get me up to speed I would love to help out with what ever I am capable.  I am game to give back, just right now this is all stuff that frustrates me.

You will need to build your own kernel for that platform. The v7 rootfs should work, requiring only minor modifications or none.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Anyone know any reasonable instructions how to get this done the right way?

What can we do to replace this bad word to TC

I would really like to keep the TC moment alive and cutting edge.  I bringing back the thin client one embedded system at a time.  Well I hope anyway.

Thanks for your time!!
