Hi
to start, i am non English and very new to linux, so very sorry if this doesn't make any sense.
I am trying to live boot from a usb drive on a HP Compaq t5520 Thin Client
Processor: VIA 800 MHz
Flash: 64 MB
Memory: 128 MB DDR SDRAM
Graphics: VIA S3 graphics with support for high-resolution monitors up to 1280 x 1024
(NOTE: 16 MB of system RAM is reserved for video graphics usage)
The terminal doesn't have a hard drive, just ram
I have today downloaded the "CorePlus-Current.iso" and used "Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.0.9" to install it on a 4gb flash drive.
It boots fine to the boot options, but CorePlus and the TinyCore (boath GUI and non-GUI) stops after it has whiten:
"
Booting Core 4.6
Running Linux Kernel 3.0.21-tinycore.
Checking boot options...Done.
Starting udev daemon for hotspot support...Done.
Scanning hard disk partitions to create /etc/fstab
Setting Languae to C Done.
"
Then there is just a white marker, that echo's the buttons i pres.
i have left it alone for about 10 min, nothing happens.
this is also when i use the mode for slow usb drives.
i have tried using the boot options f.eks. the vga= and set lang= but nothing helps.
i hope you can help me, or end my suffering and tell me it ill never work.
/Vind
