Kludgets does not start

Trying to run Kludgets 0.9.1 on Tiny Core Linux 4.5.2.  I have the qt4 dependencies installed, but I cannot get the Kludgets application to run.  I get the following errors.

QIconvCodec::convertFromUnicode:  using ASCII for conversion, iconv_open failed
QIconvCodec::convertToUnicode:  using ASCII for conversion, iconv_open failed

I can run this "out of the box" on Ubuntu, but I seem to be missing something on TCL.  Any guidance would be great.

I found that glibc-gconv.tcz gets rid of the error,  but the application will still not start and now it doesn't show any errors.
