On Core 4.5.6 where is filetool.lst?

I have spent a few hours just trying to locate this file in order to edit it because my backups take way too long. I cant find it. Please help me I ame new to TinyCore.

it is always hidden which will require "show all or hidden files " to be selected (depending on file browser), else in Core the file will be prefixed with . (as in " .filetool.lst ") and located in the OPT directory

it /opt/.filetool.lst NOT /opt/filetool.lst.
There is a dot in front of the f.

Thanks guys. I finally found it. It is set to copy the whole Home folder that includes my Dropbox 2gigs worth. I have just excluded it. Have a great ady.

Your Dropbox 2G needs to be on permanent storage, Then you can symlink it to $HOME/dropbox

You may feel more comfortable to use a graphical file manager for file operations - e.g. rox filer would allow you to middle-drag and drop a symbolic link.
You should not remove "home" from .filetool.lst, but add "home/tc/somedir" to .xfiletool.lst
