ezremaster: some extensions are missing in tce.installed
« on: July 17, 2012, 06:53:22 AM »
I've tried a remaster but when I launch it and I look in tce.installed I don't see all the files that should be there.

Please attach your /tmp/ezremaster/ezremaster.cfg and /tmp/ezremaster/ezremaster.log files that are created when you create the remaster and let me know what files are missing in the tce.installed directory.

It looks like you used the "Extract TCZ in to initrd".   With this option, the TCZ's and their dependencies are extracted to the initrd so you won't see anything in tce.installed.   Is the remaster working?

Shouldn't that method create dummy files there, to function properly?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Curaga - I'll add this to do the to-do list for the next version of ezremaster.   I think it will function properly without them there, but it might be beneficial to have them there when installing additional extensions after the remaster.
