Abiword
« on: April 25, 2009, 03:44:38 PM »
Hi guys!

I have tried to compile abiword for quite a while but always something is missing during the configuration. Latest it complained that xft couldn't be found. I tried to compile that as standalone but no success. I feel that some kind of wordprocessor is needed to the TC 2.0 to make it more useful (something newer than OO 2.3.x). If someone more skilled than me can compile the latest abiword, I think a lot of guys in the community would appreciate it (I know I wold!!!).

Have fun with this versatile distro,
meo

I've posted the info to a rough HOWTO of its own, along with new details on how to produce one big abiword.tce out of all the bits. The HOWTO is here:

Abiword and plugins have been posted to the TC 2.x repository
