How to restore default desktop
« on: May 07, 2012, 11:00:35 PM »
I installed LXDE and like to go back to TC default desktop.
I removed desk=lxde from extlinux.conf, but still got LXDE after reboot.

Use onboot maintenance in Apps.
Remove LXDE.tcz and add flwm_topside.tcz.

I am using TinyCore, not CorePlus, I do not have onboot maintenance in Apps.
I manually edited onboot.lst and got TC desktop back.
Thanks.

p.s. What desktops are available from TC repo?  I removed LXDE because I got used to one-click triger, left or right.

You should have had Apps.
You must have failed to install Xprogs.tcz.
Please spend some time in the wiki.

Maybe he had an older version?

I don't think we have a complete list of WMs anywhere.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
