Associating mime-type with application
«

Hello,
I'm having difficulties associating a mime-type with an application. Is there a good way to go about this in TC?
Thanks in advance.

The answer is, "it depends". Many apps have their own bindings (browsers, file managers), some read the .desktop files, some use the freedesktop mime database.

In TC itself you can not associate it system-wise. You can do that in some DE's, like Xfce4 for example.
