re: dropbox daemon at start up
« on: April 27, 2012, 07:18:27 AM »
In the past using tc I have been able to run the dropbox daemon [/home/tc/.dropbox/dropboxd] after the first run to sync the dropbox folder at boot up - once configured the daemon runs in the background.

With tc 4.4 running with openbox and cairo dock and pcmanfm after the first run of dropbox I cannot find a dropboxd to run except in /usr/local/dropbox/dropboxd which in any case after a reboot & save just runs the dropbox setup again. How to preserve the configured dropbox settings and run the daemon at start up without the setup palaver is the question? Under Arch with openbox there is a .dropbox-dist where the dropboxd resides. Hmmmm.

Any enlightenment out there?
