enlightenment vs e17
« on: February 13, 2012, 10:50:17 PM »
Is there much difference between enlightenment.tcz and e17.tcz? The .info files are remarkably similar, down to the description (The Enlightenment DR17 Desktop Environment) and version numbers (16.999.063). This is TinyCore 2.x. Thank you.

I do not know if there are many changes but certainly there have been (like the ability to turn off the system with the buttons, the presence of "everything" launcher, or the fact that ctrl + alt + g blocks e17 :)

Hmm, interesting. Has anyone here on TC actually tried the two and compared their performance? Just curious...

@vinnie: Looks good. You don't say specifically: are you using enlightenment.tcz or e17.tcz? I might have to test this myself ;D. In ogni caso, direi che dominare il mondo è più difficile che fare queste prove, allora vedo che sei abbastanza occupato 8) ...

I use e17, as I was trying to say enlightenment is no longer in the repository.
Ops! dovevo nascondere quel task segreto!  :P
